CommerceSWITCH`s AnalysisServer sharpens e-marketing

E-business solutions company commerceSWITCH has launched AnalysisServer, a practical e-marketing application that gives e-businesses the information they need to understand their customer`s browsing, product searching and buying activities.

AnalysisServer complements commerceSWITCH`s portfolio of e-business solutions by enabling rapid analysis of online buyers` product selection activity, helping Internet marketers improve the effectiveness of their e-commerce marketing and selling operations.

It is a particularly powerful plug-in for Product Server, commerceSWITCH`s product content management solution for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce that maximises e-business marketing and sales efforts by simplifying the production of online catalogues.

AnalysisServer gives catalogue and content owners click-by-click insight into which features their online customers consider most important, what keywords Internet buyers are using to find products and when and where they are looking for help.

The tool provides Internet marketers with information that enables them to tailor their e-commerce product catalogues, Web storefronts and back-office systems to fulfil customers` product information needs.

commerceSWITCH wraps AnalysisServer in a range of e-commerce consulting and management services to ensure Internet marketers gain its full benefits.

"The real-time data provided by AnalysisServer complements Web page analysis software by highlighting the hottest products, identifying potential bottlenecks, and giving Internet marketers the information they need to make their customers` buying experience more successful," says Philip de Bruin, MD of commerceSWITCH.

"AnalysisServer is ahead of its competitors as most website analysis tools only allow you to measure basics such as the number of visitors to your site, and the duration of each visit. AnalysisServer`s tracking and analytical capabilities provide detailed information about how customers are using product catalogues."

By tracking the keywords online buyers use to find products, AnalysisServer helps Internet marketers spot parametric trends regarding product features, part numbers and other product attributes. This gives them a considerable advantage in today`s e-commerce environment, helping them turn clicks into sales.

"E-business profits depend on your ability to fine-tune your customers` buying experience. To succeed at this, you need better knowledge of their buying habits," says De Bruin. "AnalysisServer allows you to gain valuable insight into customers` demands by revealing what product features are most important to them and identifying when they need help. As a result you are able to tailor your product catalogue to meet your customers` needs.

"By enabling customers to find their favourite products faster, you reduce their frustration and increase their loyalty. And by providing online help features where your customers need them most, you will decrease your customer service expenses."
