CommSoft Group Limited today announced the appointment of Mark Lunt as Group Managing Director. Mark will be responsible for all day-to-day operational activities of the telecommunications and CRM software company. He will be based in New Zealand although he will also travel to Australia, the United Kingdom and South Africa regularly.

"Mark`s background in international software marketing is precisely what CommSoft needs," says CommSoft Chairman, Greg Gardiner. "He has experience in managing large and geographically dispersed organisations and over his career has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to grow organisations, develop markets and manage businesses profitably."

"CommSoft is faced with a number of significant opportunities," says Mark Lunt. "In NetMaster, CallMaster and Vantage it has a very strong product set in a fast growing market sector. To support that base strength the company also has a strong line-up of talented people and good international distribution channels in place. I`m very focussed on transforming those advantages into business success."

Mark joins the company from gen-i Limited (New Zealand`s leading internet integration company with over 400 staff and revenues in excess of NZ$100 million) where he was Chairman. Prior to that he was the Managing Director of Countrywide Independent Advisers Limited - an UK company with 400 staff and sales of about lb200 million. He has held a number of roles with IT companies in the UK and New Zealand over the past 20 years, primarily in sales and marketing.

Born and raised in the UK, Mark holds a degree from Oxford University. Mark Lunt`s first priority will be to assess the company`s cash flow requirements, distribution arrangements and operational procedures.
