Communicate effectively from the top with Sahara technology

Sahara Computers is pleased to announce the availability of its new Webcam. Ideal for interactive video communication, including mail, conferencing and chatting, the Sahara Webcam enables 30 frames per second video imaging at VGA (Video Graphics Array) and features Precise Focus tuning for clear, immediate and effective digital communication.

The advent of mobile and wireless technology and infrastructure within the corporate environment has helped to drive further research and development into interactive applications and peripherals like the Sahara Webcam.

Featuring a 1/7-inch USB CMOS Camera with 100K resolution and an aperture of F/2.4, the Sahara Webcam allows the user to capture snapshots, broadcast live video (capture at 640x480) over the Web and record audio with a built-in microphone.

The device works with various messenger applications including MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger, Windows messenger, Netmeeting, and virtually all Windows programs that support videos and is compatible with Windows 98SE/2000/ME/XP.

The Sahara Webcam has a view angle tolerance of up to 52 degrees and facilitates both Jpeg and AVi (video streaming) formats.

The recommended retail price is R184, VAT inclusive.
