Compact DSc332, DSc338 MFPs deliver high quality mono, fast colour output

Gestetner, a leading provider of total document solutions, has extended its multifunctional product (MFP) range with the DSc332 and DSc338.

These MFPs incorporate the latest technological developments from Gestetner with the added benefit of fast productive colour. The products are aimed at supporting medium-sized offices and workgroups with approximately 30 users networked to the device.

To ensure users are immediately productive, the DSc332/338 come with Web Image Monitor, available as standard, it facilitates the easy management, viewing and reproduction of documents stored on the device.

The user only needs a standard Web browser in order to access it to view, download or reprint documents for increased efficiency.

The DSc332/338 incorporates a scan-to-e-mail function that is ideal to help save time and increase productivity. Users can quickly and easily scan both mono and colour documents sending them directly to the recipient, simply by manually entering the e-mail address on the QWERTY touch-screen control panel or selecting from the company`s e-mail address book via LDAP technology (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol). The LDAP technology also means company e-mail addresses are extracted from the mail server, which then automatically synchronises with the machines. For documents, which are too large to send by e-mail, the scan-to-folder function enables users to send them directly to a folder on the network or even to a FTP site. This is the ideal way to securely and cost-effectively share documents.

Both devices come with multiple connectivity options ideal for flexible working environments and for seamless integration with existing networks. Wireless LAN and Bluetooth connectivity options provide users with the ability to make a single wireless connection increasing workflow. Optional USB connectivity offers simple and quick connectivity and supports all major industry standard printer languages and network environments.
