Compaq Computer recently held its Service Channel Awards to honour its partners that have made outstanding contributions to its Service Channel.
The awards for service excellence went to Advancenet, Comparex, E-RS, Servutron and TCM.
In the category of services sales, Dimension Data came first as a Platinum Partner as did Datacentrix and Aptronics Network Solutions as Gold Partners.
In the category of enterprise support, which covers the area of Compaq SAN and Alpha equipment in mission-critical environments, the winners were Platinum Partner, CS Holdings, and Gold Partners, MIT and Enterprise Connection.
Ganief Fataar, Compaq account manager at CS Holdings, won the Compaq Champion (Service) Individual Award.
Special awards were also made for Compaq Value-Added Services. These went to NDS for solution development using Unicenter TNG, and First Technology for solution development using Altiris. A Special Projects award for Consumer Warranty Support went to E-RS while SOS won the Special Projects award for Compaq Logistics and Value-Add.
