With the launch of the iPaq H3600 Pocket PC, Compaq has taken the concept of mobile computing right to the outer limits, packing the power of a desktop into a handset that will comfortably fit into your pocket. "Compaq has designed the iPAQ Pocket PC to give users the Internet and access to their business and personal lives at any given time, in any given place," declares Terence Barter, product manager for Compaq at Tarsus Technologies.
According to him, the iPAQ H3600 Pocket PC is designed to become a constant companion for the switched on executive. "Not much bigger than a calculator, this little powerhouse is equipped standard with applications like Microsoft Pocket Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player," says Barter.
"Productivity has been taken a step further with this incredible device - those executives who are fed up with lugging heavy notebooks around the globe can now slide a 206Mhz Intel processor-based iPaq into their pockets and have access to all the functionality of the traditional mobile computing solution," he continues.
The iPaq offers all the functionality of your desktop as well as adding touch screen and stylus-writing abilities. With its modular system of slide-on Expansion Packs, the iPaq is ready to morph to your specific requirements.
