Comparex Africa`s Customer Oriented Applications (COA), together with Ascential Software, is to host three Ascential DataStage breakfast sessions around the country, highlighting the consequences of poor data quality and management in business today.
The two-hour sessions, presented by Comparex Africa COA managing executive Rodney Hood and Ascential Software business development manager Alistair Jacobs, will be held in:
* Cape Town on 19 June at Comparex Africa in Century City;
* Johannesburg on 20 June at Comparex Africa in Rivonia; and
* Durban on 21 June at Comparex Africa in La Lucia.
Hood believes enterprises need to be paranoid about potential poor quality issues, and fanatical about finding and fixing them. "Information is the new currency driving business success," he says. "Reliable data begins with a corporate commitment to data quality, and is achieved through standardised procedures backed by robust quality management software."
