Comparex Africa`s Customer Oriented Applications (COA) division, SAP and Actuate Corporation will host a free seminar focusing on Actuate Corporation`s latest information delivery platform, Actuate 7 and SAP`s Business Warehouse (BW).
The seminar is geared at enabling users to leverage Actuate`s comprehensive report formatting capabilities and advanced information delivery techniques, as well as giving guidance to users who want to report off SAP applications in real-time.
Actuate 7 is the industry`s first platform that provides business users with direct access to enterprise information while enabling IT managers to retain control over security, data integrity and IT infrastructure performance. It is also the only solution that allows business users to execute ad hoc queries and create server-managed spreadsheet reports with no additional training or software downloads.
SAP BW is the hub from which all of SAP`s Strategic Enterprise Management toolset work. This includes Business Planning & Simulation (BPS), Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Advanced Planning and Optimisation (APO).
Actuate is a certified software partner of SAP and the companies work closely together to provide information delivery solutions to joint customers or prospects who intend to use Actuate in conjunction with SAP. Actuate integrates into SAP`s MySAP Business Information Warehouse and SAP R/3, and utilises them as just another data source for information. The Actuate SAP solution for BW and for R/3 has been certified by SAP, guaranteeing a high degree of integration between SAP and Actuate.
