Computer Associates has announced that Simon Perry is to take up the role of vice-president, security strategy for CA`s eTrust brand in EMEA, reporting to Russ Artzt, executive vice-president, eTrust brand.
Based in the UK, Perry`s mission will be to extend CA`s global leadership in the e-business security space. He will have a specific focus on the requirements of the European security market, and draw on his extensive international experience to help CA`s clients develop appropriate strategies.
Perry has worked in the security industry for a total of 17 years. During his seven years at CA, he has worked to support business growth initially in Australia, and most recently at the CA headquarters in Islandia, New York. He will now move to CA`s European Headquarters in Ditton Park.

"Simon`s combination of technical expertise and industry experience will ensure that we are providing the best support to our customers as he ensures our continued growth in the security area, across EMEA."
