Available exclusively through CA`s indirect distribution channels, InoculateIT Advanced Edition delivers CA`s award-winning antivirus technology with the centralised administration facilities essential for protecting complex heterogeneous environments.
InoculateIT Advanced Edition is one of the newest additions to CA`s Advanced Edition product line. Advanced Edition products are available exclusively through CA`s global reseller distribution channel. They enable VARs, system integrators and other CA channel partners to address the increasingly sophisticated IT management requirements of mid-to-large sized organisations. Because of their relatively limited internal IT staffs, these organisations are typically very dependent on reseller/integrator partners to meet their technology challenges. The CA Advanced Edition product line provides the channel with enterprise-class solutions for these challenges at a price point that makes sense for their target customers/clients.
The single-point management features of InoculateIT Advanced Edition include automated rapid deployment and updating of all servers - including email servers - and networked clients throughout the enterprise. This is essential to effective protection, since new virus strains are continually emerging. CA makes the updates available over the Internet to InoculateIT Advanced Edition customers free on a periodic basis or immediately when a new virus alert is issued. Updated signatures are then automatically distributed across the network to all potential points-of-entry for continual protection against virus infections.
