Compuware`s newly released DevPartnerDB debugging tool for Oracle stored procedures for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, will significantly improve enterprise applications developed in this environment.
DevPartnerDB debugger for Oracle is a comprehensive development tool for proactive analysis and debugging of PL/SQL from within Visual Studio .Net.
"Most debugging tools today don`t give developers a thorough understanding of how their applications interact with the database," says Tracey Rouessart, product manager at Compuware SA.
"DevPartnerDB is the only product available that offers this, enabling Oracle debugging capabilities fully integrated within Visual Studio .NET."
Comments Tom Button, vice president for developer platform and evangelism division at Microsoft: "The new DevPartnerDB for Oracle within Visual Studio.NET significantly enhances a developer`s experience when working with Oracle data."
The debugging tool accelerates the development of applications by capturing stored procedures within the application context. Its tight integration with Visual Studio.NET gives developers easy access to a complete array of stored procedure debugging tools in a familiar environment.
"This helps developers to save time and produce reliable applications more swiftly," comments Rouessart.
The DevPartnerDB debugging tool also enables developers to find and fix data access issues quickly and efficiently, before deployment.
DevPartnerDB supports Windows XP and Windows 2000, as well Oracle versions 8 and above, and is available immediately.
