Local value-added distributor Comztek and vendor Avaya have unveiled the Avaya iConnect partner programme for eligible Comztek .

According to the companies, the new Avaya iConnect partner programme is designed to unpack a series of value-added benefits for resellers who are specifically trying to grow their share of SA's developing mid-sized market.

"The local mid-market differs significantly from the enterprise market and as a result requires a different approach and a go-to-market from resellers, one that is tailored to meet its very unique needs," says Michelle Madeley, Avaya channel manager at Comztek.

"At Comztek, we are delighted with Avaya's renewed focus on this segment, as we believe it will go a long way towards growing and supporting the growth of our resellers who are targeting this market segment."

Avaya has recently made some changes in the industry by giving mid-size enterprises access to enterprise collaboration, video and networking functionality on a mid-size enterprise budget. The unified communications vendor says the Avaya iConnect programme will provide resellers access to sales incentives, partner rewards and aggressive rebate schemes.

It adds that incentives in the programme also include a seven-day course for channel partners, covering a view to new sales methods and sixteen training certificates in voice, data, video and networking.

As an added benefit, signed up partners will also be able to access additional marketing funding to assist in driving specific campaigns to the market, the companies say.

"The Avaya iConnect program offers a bold business proposition designed to compensate eligible partners who continue to accelerate their business with Avaya's full stack midmarket technologies," Madeley notes.
