While we may all have forgotten about Christmas, Comztek is still living the phrase `Christmas is a time for giving`.
The company decided to put back into the South African community and is issuing cheques to three major foundations now that the company`s Christmas Card Campaign has come to a close.
Rather than send Christmas presents to clients and business partners, Comztek decided to donate the money it would have spent to charity. It sent electronic greeting cards and, at the click of a mouse, the recipients were able to choose which charity to support.
Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC) will receive 50% of the total amount being donated, Hospice 30%, and the Wildlife Fund 20%, as per resellers` preferences.
Paul Conradie, Managing Director of Comztek, says this is a step towards making a difference in the lives of those in need.
"This form of donation offers our clients and business partners a service that is easy and instant, and doesn`t cost them a cent to support the charity of their choice. I wish to thank all of our resellers for their participation in the campaign."
