Comztek, South Africa's leading IT systems and communications partner, hosted its Adobe ACSP Awards ceremony where its resale partners were awarded for Adobe product sales made in 2008.
The event honoured Comztek's top Adobe resellers for the 2008 financial year, which took part in the Adobe Creative Solutions Partner (ACSP) programme run by Comztek. To qualify for the programme, resellers had to meet certain criteria, including a quarterly sales target as well as specific training and marketing events that had to be held.
The programme is not without its perks. For their efforts, resellers are rewarded with various incentives, which include rebates and discount on Adobe purchases made from Comztek.
DigiCape was announced as the winner on the day and Gaynor MacArthur took the honour of accepting the ACSP trophy on behalf of his company. First Technology Group came in second while Access International claimed third place. Kerry Hope from First Technology Group and Tim Smith from Access International were on hand to accept the prizes for their respective companies.
Present on the day was David Caygill, business unit director at Comztek, who said the event formed part of the bigger Comztek Appreciation Programme, which is about the company showing its appreciation to its resellers, and rewarding them for their support and growing the Adobe brand across the region. “To reach this stage, the participating resellers had to put in a lot of hard work and this award ceremony is a testament to their dedication to Comztek and the Adobe brand.”
The ACSP programme for 2009 kicked off on 01 December 2008.
