Leading ICT distributor Comztek has scooped the coveted Symantec`s African Distributor of the Year: Security award for a number of consecutive years now.
Nadine Barnard, business unit manager of Comztek`s Security & Storage business unit, attributes this to ongoing hard work and dedication.
The company was awarded the coveted distributor award for growing its business by almost 30% during the past year. Comztek also grew its staff during this time and initiated a number of new Symantec campaigns and projects, including its online renewals management tool, a first for South Africa.
Hilton Long from Comztek`s Durban office was awarded Contributor of the Year: Distribution for his great commitment and for having grown Symantec in the Durban region significantly.
Comztek has always been a dominant player in the Symantec security market, and has more recently been awarded Symantec VAD+ status, the highest partner category for Symantec distributors, and one of only two such distributors in South Africa. This enables it to expand its offerings to include Symantec`s availability products as well, including backup, storage management, archive and compliance solutions.
