Content management book available
Research and Markets has announced the addition of 'Content Management Investment in the USA H2 2006' to its offering, says Reuters.
This databook from the technology trends service helps vendors to understand enterprises' current and forthcoming investment in content management solutions in the US.
The data has been drawn from interviews with 50 IT managers conducted in H2 2006.
WebEx selects eTouch
WebEx has selected eTouch Systems to provide content management applications for its hosted WebEx Connect mashup tool set and applications, according to Computerworld.
WebEx Connect, unveiled by the Cisco Systems unit in September, provides a Web-based environment for employees, partners and customers to collaborate and share ideas, the companies said.
The latest move lets users of the WebEx hosted collaboration tool set use the eTouch SamePage wiki tool to manage their content.
ACOM searches BlackBerry
It has become easier to access business documents stored in ACOM Solutions EZContentManager, the Windows-based archival system designed to work with i5/OS applications and data, says IT Jungle.
In December, the Southern California company announced two new capabilities for EZContentManager, including the new EZRetrieve module for searching the document store from Windows or 5250 screens, and a new module for managing the store from BlackBerry smart phones.
California-based ACOM Solutions has been involved in document management technology for the AS/400, iSeries, and System i servers for a long time, primarily with its EZeDocs/400 and EZPayManager/400 line of software.
