Leading enterprise software distributor, AmVia, has confirmed that Johannesburg and Cape Town have been included in the International Content Process Fusion Seminar. The exclusive half-day event will feature Gartner Research director, Toby Bell, a leading analyst and expert in Content Process Fusion. Other cities hosting the seminar include Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Reading and Milan.
Toby Bell is a research director in Gartner Research. Mr. Bell is responsible for a range of document and content management technologies for the Knowledge Workplace group. Some key areas of coverage include e-Forms, document composition, integrated document archive and retrieval, distributed output management, workflow automation and content process fusion, as well as vendors and trends in the overall content management marketplace.
The event is hosted by AmVia`s vendor Captaris, the leading provider RightFax and business information delivery solutions that integrate, process and automate the flow of messages, data and documents.
Captaris` recent acquisition of Teamplate leverages the company with the leading offering in Content Process Fusion. The acquisition of the .NET-based business process management (BPM) vendor accelerated Captaris` strategy to become the market leader in business information delivery solutions for enterprise customers worldwide, and to further penetrate the business process automation market.
The seminar will cover the key trends in Content Process Fusion, how enterprises coordinate people, processes, and content to achieve savings and which common processes are the best targets for automation.
"Our clients want to connect people, processes, applications and content to save money and create customer value. This connection is consistent with a trend we`ve been seeing - content process fusion," stated Toby Bell, Research Director, Gartner. "Enterprises should look for key pairing of prominent vendors in both business process automation and business information delivery."
The seminar will take place on the 11th of May in Cape Town and the 12th of May 2004 in Johannesburg. Attendance is free and attendees can register at http://www.captarisgartnerexecbriefs.com/
