Cordys, the leading cloud platform provider, today announced it has been named as a "Strong Performer" in "The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Public Cloud Platforms, Q2 2013" report. Cordys is among a group of 14 companies that Forrester Research evaluated in the report.
The Forrester Wave report assessed these most significant public cloud vendors for large enterprises on a 19-criteria evaluation of their strategy, current offerings, and market presence. The report is based on an analysis of data from vendor surveys, compulsory evaluations, customer reference calls and executive strategy calls.
Cordys is one of a select group of vendors which is included in three different segments of the Enterprise Public Cloud Platforms Wave evaluation report: for rapid developers, for coders and for DevOps professionals.
In its report, Forrester stated that "Cordys' development environment for rapid developers is comprehensive, modular and mature". Cordys received the highest score possible for Platform Configuration Options, Private and Hybrid Cloud features, Infrastructure Abstraction features and Development & Testing tools.
The Cordys Business Operations Platform as a Service (PaaS) provides a single, complete cloud platform for application development, integration and business process management, supported by a unified cloud provisioning product. The report also cites this development environment for coders and noted that "[it] makes the company more relevant to shops containing both rapid devs and coders".
"This rating from Forrester is a great recognition for our cloud capabilities and offering," said Art Landro, Chief Executive Officer at Cordys. "Our commitment to client success through innovation and product leadership is the reason why many of the world's leading organisations are choosing the Cordys cloud platform to harness the power of the cloud and transform their business operations."
