Cordys, NCCW extend commercial agreement

Johannesburg, 02 Apr 2012

Two years after the launch of NCCW's Corporation Cloud, the platform turned out to be a great success. Several new customers, including Woningstichting Wageningen, Tablis Wonen, Idealis, Woonwijze Vucht and Goed Wonen Twello, recently started using the cloud-based BPM platform.

A total of 17 housing associations are now using the platform. NCCW, a leader in IT solutions for housing corporations, uses Cordys' Business Operations Platform (BOP) as the foundation for its Corporation Cloud.

The Corporation Cloud is a cloud-based BPM platform with which housing corporations can streamline and optimise their collaboration with all stakeholders in the chain. Self-service applications in the cloud can be quickly and easily connected to on-premise backend systems. This allows end-users, for example, to schedule a repair or maintenance online. Another example is that the housing corporations have real-time visibility into the status of their claims from the insurer's claim management system.

About the benefits of the Corporation Cloud, Lex Smith, Director of Woningstichting Wageningen, says: "Lower costs, higher customer satisfaction, continuous process measurement and simple process adjustments, are key benefits of the Corporation Cloud. After a short start-up period, these benefits became reality."

"To optimise customer service and reduce costs, housing corporations need to be process-centric in the first place," said Wibo Pollmann, Managing Director of NCCW. "With the Corporation Cloud, based on the Cordys technology, our customers can streamline and continuously improve their business processes. We are extremely pleased with our relationship with Cordys and are delighted to announce that we extended the commercial agreement."

Hans de Visser, Chief Marketing Officer at Cordys: “With the current global economy facing financial pressure, organisations are compelled to reduce operational costs and improve customer service. The Cordys platform enables the orchestration of multiple services and applications in the Cloud and their connection with on-premise systems. This enables housing corporations to respond quickly to new market opportunities. The fact that more and more housing corporations are using this process-oriented platform in the cloud, is a proof of its success.”
