Corel Corporation announces two new appointments to Southern African office

Johannesburg, 06 May 1998

Corel Corporation, award-winning marketer and developer of graphics, and business productivity software is pleased to announce two new appointments to its Southern African office located in Johannesburg. Beverley Roers and Denis Corin have joined Corel's expanding international sales team.Beverley Rogers, has been appointed Country Manager for Southern Africa. She joins Corel from Datatec, replacing Sandie Overtveld, who has accepted a position with Corel Corporation in the Netherlands.Denis Corin has joined Corel as Corporate Account Manager for Southern Africa. He was previously employed at Systems Publishers."Both new appointments are tremendous to our Southern African operations," said Kevin Barwin, Regional Sales Manager. "They bring to our team valuable in-depth knowledge of the Southern African market in a number of aspects, including distribution, media, the corporate world and consumer trends.""I`m proud to join Corel at such an exciting time for the company," said Ms. Rogers. "We are doing extremely well in the Southern African market, and our academic licencing program, which we have tailored in order to meet Southern Africa`s needs, has gained a lot of recognition."The other members of the South African team are Ernest Rampete, Educational Account Manager, who heads Corel's enormously successful educational program in South Africa, and Kevin Buchler, Retail Account Manager.
