Yahoo News.

Replacing its legacy CMS, N24 will deploy CoreMedia's CMS to optimise editorial processes, including the management and delivery of contextually- content throughout multiple channels.

Attracting between 16 million and 20 million visitors per month, N24's Web site features a content portal, which houses a library of video and editorial content.

The site also hosts a virtual editorial office in which editors and journalists prepare and distribute video and editorial reports across syndicated channels and a variety of devices.

“N24's editors must be able to a vast amount of inbound content, and adjust their news reports efficiently to meet the requirements of N24's various news channels, whether it's on a Web browser or mobile device,” The San Francisco Chronicle quotes Gerrit Kolb, CoreMedia CEO, as saying.

“Previously, the process for N24's staff to edit and adapt each story to the specifications of the different channels was very complex. With CoreMedia's CMS, the process will be dramatically simplified.”

CoreMedia's CMS will enable the contextualisation and personalisation of content distributed by N24.de's and integration of social networks.
