PC and peripherals products distributor, Corex has been appointed an official South African distributor for IOGear, a leading US-based connectivity and peripherals manufacturer.
Corex now provides IOGear`s complete KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse), FireWire, USB (Universal Serial Bus) 1.1 / 2.0, Bluetooth and HomePlug solutions which target home users, mobile users and small to medium sized businesses (SMBs).
The company`s compact desktop KVM products, for example, enable users to access multiple computers through one console, while its line of USB and FireWire connectivity products allow peripherals to be easily attached.
Comments Fred Lu, the managing director of Corex: "IOGear`s most recent Bluetooth and HomePlug product lines provide users with advanced industry solutions - the company consistently develops products that incorporate innovative technology; providing end users with outstanding functionality and capability." "We are, therefore, thrilled to be partnering with them as we can now offer our customers leading products that are driven by innovation, strong R&D and critical functionality. IOGear recently introduced one of the industry`s first Digital Video Interface (DVI) Keyboard Video Mouse and Peripheral (KVMP) switches with audio and USB peripheral sharing capabilities. The DVI connectors enable computer connections with corresponding video cards, which in turn manage systems using a single DVI monitor such as a flat panel, or plasma display, data projector or digital TV and set-top box for high-resolution computing.
