Corex, a recently launched distributor of PC and peripheral products, has been appointed the sole distributor for A-Data Technology in SA.
It will distribute A-Data`s major product lines, including DRAM modules, flash memory-based peripherals and TFT-LCD displays.
"There is significant demand for A-Data`s offerings in SA among professional and enthusiast PC users - particularly gamers," says Matthew Hall, general manager of Corex.
"With users of desktop computers requiring more computing power to deal with sophisticated software packages and video and image-based applications, there is a need for after-market memory upgrades and better quality monitors," he says.
Hall expects A-Data to make a significant contribution to Corex`s operation in SA. "The gaming and accessory market is one of the fastest growing in the industry and the A-Data distributorship represents a significant opportunity for us to increase our exposure in this sector of the market," he says.
