Xhead = Council signs £5m HR deal
service for North Yorkshire and other local authorities, says The Guardian.
According to a notice published in the Official Journal of the European Union, the council provides 'varying degrees' of managed HR and payroll services to a number of public sector organisations in the region.
These include North Yorkshire fire and rescue service and Hartlepool and Scarborough councils.
"The supplier will therefore be required to continue to accommodate current working arrangements and ensure that the council has the ability to scale the contract to potentially varying levels of live records and functional requirements," says the notice.
Meanwhile, Gazette & Herald reports that IT, human resources, legal and finance services are among other areas which the North Yorkshire council and Ryedale District Council will share in future.
