Courts seek AV systems
The Ministry of Justice in New Zealand is looking at ways to expand the use of audio-visual (AV) court technology within the justice sector, reports Reseller News.
The ministry will use the technology to improve investigations as AV facilitates the recording and transcription of proceedings.
A decision about AV system and service requirements over a longer contract term is expected to be undertaken early next year and completed around June 2011.
Audio retailer with agency
Audio-T, a UK retailer of high-end hi-fi equipment, has chosen London and Ipswich-based Crafted Media as its long-term digital media agency partner, states Response Source.
Audio-T is discussing with Crafted Media the benefits of overhauling its online presence to further complement offline sales at its nationwide chain of stores.
Crafted Media is set to develop Audio-T's new Web site, from initial designs through to integration with back-end systems.
Panasonic takes AV award
The winners of the technology categories at the 2010 Which Awards have been announced, with Panasonic receiving the award for best audio-visual brand, writes Which.
The Which Awards are designed to recognise those companies and individuals that consistently get it right for the consumer, with the slogan for the 2010 awards being 'Who cares, wins'.
Panasonic proved itself over 10 audio-visual product areas from TVs to camcorders, and over the past year, 34 of the 54 Panasonic products tested by Which made it to Best Buy status.
