The CreativeNOMAD Jukebox Zen has the features and flexibility of a large capacity MP3 player squeezed into a pocket-sized package, making this the smallest USB and SB1394 hard drive MP3 player available on the local market.
The product features Creative's menu system, supported by Quick Scroller Navigation, while file transfers are made possible at a transfer rate of SB1394/Firewire (IEEE1394 compatible), via transfer or USB port.
"Twelve hours of continuous portable playback are offered with the Jukebox's built-in quick-charge Li-ion battery," explains Ross Jardien, sales manager at Sahara Computers. "This pocket-sized player with 10GB storage capacity enables you to take 4 000 songs (WMA/80kbps) or 2 000 songs (MP3/128kbps) with you, everywhere you go."
Music can be synchronised with the product's AudioSync, while Creative PlayCenter 3 enables users to rip CDs, as well as organise and transfer tracks between the player and PC. Users can also create and customise playlists for any occasion from the player, not just as loaded from a PC.
The Handy-Find-Feature locates any song, album or artist with alphabetical input. Advanced EQ allows for customisation of music playback with a variety of Equalizer presets or set a preference, using the 4-band Custom Equalizer.
Smart Volume Management adjusts the playback volume of all the tracks on a playlist so they will remain at the same level, eliminating the need for volume control between songs. Time Scaling speeds up or slows down an audio track with no distortion. "A perfect feature for studying music note by note, or listening to spoken word recordings," comments Jardien.
Environmental Effects simulate audio environments such as "Concert Hall" or "Arena" assuring users of audio realism. 3D Specialisation Effects expand a soundstage for a richer and fuller listening experience.
