KreditInfor and Octagon Business Solutions (OBS), the strategic IT partner of KreditInfor, have jointly launched the upgraded DISCOVER 3 software package.

In addition to KreditInform`s Reporting Service, Online Information, including data on judgements, registered Companies/Close Corporations, South Africa`s 180,000 credit-active businesses, Directors, Company and Registrars files, these new data sources incorporated into DISCOVER 3 are:
I-NET BRIDGE, the leading provider of online business news data and intelligence services to 22,000 corporate customers.
The DEEDS Office, access to all nine simultaneously, through the OBS Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
BANK CODES, allowing users to obtain direct bank codes from the banking environment and receive data electronically.
SECURITIES DOCUMENT LIBRARY, a comprehensive library of all legal documents required in preparing credit-related securities, with a breakdown structure to ensure correct documentation is prepared.
"DISCOVER 3, must be one of the most comprehensive credit management and decision making business tools on the business market", adds Green. "Access is secure, real-time and allows for instantaneous management decisions".
Explains Rob Campbell:, "With I-Net Bridge we wanted to incorporate its online feed to our customers and created an entirely new internet-sourced service, called KreditBis. This gives users access to all our databases and services."
"Previously, there was a time consuming problem when accessing all nine Deeds Offices while gathering information. Through DISCOVER 3 this can be requested automatically.
"Bank codes are an essential indicator of the current creditworthiness of a customer and our access to the banking environment ensures that clients receive data on the immediate status of existing and potential customers".
"Finally, and most important of all, the identification and securing of elements such as cessions, personal securities, registered notarial bonds and a comprehensive, costly range of legal documents can be prepared instantly from the Securities Document Library."
The Securities Document Library draws on the expertise of KreditInteract, an associate company of KreditInform, specializing in the preparation of documentation and collection procedures related to credit transactions.
The step-by-step documentation library draws up, researches and prepares all the necessary contractual detail requested when doing business with a sole proprietor, close corporation, (Pty) Ltd and other business. These enable users to cut all the legal costs normally associated with such documentation. A special feature of DISCOVER 3 is that such documentation can be upgraded instantly and automatically as the government laws change.
