CS Holdings, the JSE-listed information technology (IT) services provider, has been appointed an Oracle Partner Programme Member.
This level of accreditation allows CH Holdings to spearhead Oracle`s thrust into the South African process manufacturing arena, says Oracle applications reseller manager Stuart Cohen.
"CH Holdings has a dedicated team of qualified professionals and provides a comprehensive portfolio of service offerings in the outsourcing market.
"This, together with its position as one of the leading ERP solutions providers in South Africa with a national footprint, make the company an ideal choice for Oracle," he says.
Stefan Coetzer, director of the Integrated Solutions division of CS Holdings, says Oracle accreditation has added to his company`s capacity to provide a one-stop solution to its customers in the mid-market, large enterprise and public sectors.
"The concept of information flow within manufacturing companies is increasingly critical to plans to co-ordinate manufacturing systems and to achieve integration with corporate supply chain management.
"The Oracle accreditation is particularly significant within the CS Holdings group now, since the company has launched a new manufacturing control and automation division - CS Systems Solutions - on the back of a R 13 million acquisition of three companies: ICIS, E`nl Projects and Infopro."
Coetzer reveals that the company as recently entered the supply chain management field by being selected as the exclusive Education Outsourcing Partner by SAPICS, the South African production and inventory control society.
"Oracle accreditation will allow us to expand our perspective within the manufacturing arena, to include strategic procurement solutions and financial applications," he says.
Coetzer looks forward to building a strong relationship with Oracle and is planning to achieve the next level of Oracle accreditation - that of Applications Reseller - in the near future.
