CS Odessa releases ConceptDraw 3

CS Odessa has introduced ConceptDraw Project 3, a redesigned version of its cross-platform project management product, reports Macnn.

The new version includes critical path highlighting and diagram view, a schematic display of the sequential and logical relationship of activities which comprise the project. This enhances the project management functions and helps it deliver better control of a project`s timeline.

In addition, new floating dialogues have been added for quick access to frequently performed tasks such as resource allocation or changing of task properties.

Projen makes biggest IT investment in 28 years

Projen, a UK-based project management company, has announced its biggest single IT investment in 28 years.

The report does not state how much the investment will be. However, the new integrated IT solution is expected to replace a number of disparate financial and project control systems, with one Web-based integrated system which will increase the efficiency and accuracy of transfer throughout the company and between Projen and its clients.

CMCS debuts loyalty programme in Middle East

Collaboration Management and Control Solutions (CMCS), the Primavera authorised representative in the Middle East, has launched a loyalty programme across the Middle East, reports AME Info.

The loyalty programme entitles CMCS customers using Primavera to receive exclusive updates and details on new releases, as well as discounted training courses for a year, once their registration is complete.

The company also announced the CMCS Project Management Body of Knowledge Road Show will kick off in February 2007. The road show will visit seven countries including Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar and Lebanon.
