CSMG unveils IT service management approach

CSMG has developed a new approach for the initial implementation of the IT service management processes. This approach is called the "Fast Track IT Service Management Framework".

It is based on the ITIL best practices for IT service management and is strongly flavoured with the intellectual property of CSMG. The use of CSMG IP facilitates a fast value delivery to the customer. The framework consists of assessments, training sessions and workshops.

According to Jurgen Muller, Managing Director of CSMG, IT service management is not always clear to customers and therefore there is uncertainly over how to approach the implementation of the IT service management processes.

CSMG has taken this into account and developed a structured framework that delivers tangible deliveries within a significant brief period. Another important component of the framework is the sustainability of the processes during the implementation and the ownership of the processes by the customer on completion of the engagement.

CSMG`s objective is to give its customers a better starting point in the implementation of the ITIL processes and to create a solid foundation for a higher targeted maturity of the service organisation.

To complement the Fast Track IT Service Management Framework, CSMG assists its customers to tailor the framework to meet the organisations specific requirement. On completion of the Fast Track, CSMG and the customer continue the relationship with consultancy, coaching and QA.
