The Microsoft partner company and its 20-strong team decided early in 2009 to exit the Web design business and concentrate on its core strength by pursuing bespoke application development and the customisation of Microsoft products, including SharePoint, Silverlight and Dynamics CRM.

This is a consequence of the world trend towards more efficient business processes. The move allows pilotfish to leverage its unique set of skills honed over the last nine years.

Since pilotfish has been in existence, it has serviced a host of top-notch clients, including Deloitte, Rainbow Chickens and large US-based IT firm, LogicalIS.

The company has honed a particular set of skills over the last five years, with the emphasis on Sharepoint development and Dynamics CRM. This has seen pilotfish customise the design of workflows, enterprise search and document management.

The application side of the business is about creating tailored software solutions. Pilotfish designs productivity systems for a range of businesses across industry sectors. While this is often complicated, it is enormously gratifying work.

Some examples of the company's application success are the Rainbow Chicken SharePoint Intranet and the Swordfish system, designed to handle the Deloitte graduate recruitment programme. Pilotfish also developed the IT systems for the South African taxi recapitalisation programme.

Pilotfish welcomes the opportunity to brief you in more detail regarding this service offering. For more information, call Adam Shapiro at pilotfish on 031-3127023; e-mail adam@pilotfish.co.za.
