solutions provider, Cyberoam has appointed Core Networks as its distribution partner in SA.

"Enterprises are increasingly prioritising network security in this region but most often insufficient funds and lack of in-house expertise are hurdles. Hence, the need for an effective in-house and/or third-party solution is definitely there," says country manager for Cyberoam SA, Adrian Anema.

He points out that the South African security market has a forecasted annual growth rate of 7.6% over the next five years of which firewalls and unified threat management appliances continue to be the primary components.

"Cyberoam sees this as an ideal time to tie up with Core Networks - a full- supplier, value add distributor from South Africa - to making deeper inroads into the region."

According to Lynton Lubbe, channel manager of Core Networks, their company is a single vendor supporter and such focused outlook enables it to render superior service into its chosen market, which is widely appreciated by its customers.

"By partnering with Cyberoam...we intend to reach a larger market portion and establish new benchmarks of quality in security solutions. We strive on Customer Service providing a 24/7 support structure."

Anema adds that with presence in more than 125 countries worldwide, Cyberoam is a network security vendor which specifically caters for critical organisations needs which include identifying users in the network.
