Cyberoam appoints SA channel manager

Cyberoam has appointed Adrian Anema as channel manager for SA.

According to the network appliances vendor, Anema will lead efforts to add to the community, driving service and supporting customers.

As Cyberoam channel manager for SA, Anema will sign up new and work closely with channel partners. Anema has previously worked with security vendors such as IBM, Check Point, Barracuda and others. Anema is experienced in developing and growing partner networks and sales, according to Cyberoam.

Commenting on Anema's appointment, Alkesh Soneji, country manager, Cyberoam SA, said: "We welcome Anema on board. His commitment, performance records and expertise will facilitate our partners in making Cyberoam the most preferred UTM [unified threat management] solution in the region. A high-growth but discerning market as in South Africa demands a comprehensive, professionally competent and motivated channel for driving growth. We are confident Anema is equipped to take up the challenge and deliver."
