D-Link South Africa, in association with its partners Pinnacle Micro and M-Web, will connect visitors at this year`s BEQSA 2003 business and ICT show to the latest in public domain WiFi technology, commonly termed `hotspots`.
Using wireless cards with a PC, notebook and PDA, users gain access to free mobile Internet connectivity anywhere at anytime.
One of the largest regional business communication, office equipment and automation, as well as ICT exhibitions, The Business Equipment & Services Office Automation and IT Expo (Cape Town International Convention Centre (3 to 5 June) and Durban ICC (7 to 9 October) presents D-Link SA and its partners with an opportunity to sample another South African `hotspot`.
Linking public areas like coffee shops, airports, restaurants and shopping centres, and allowing these institutions to provide Internet connectivity to patrons is fast growing in popularity, and organisers reaffirm that there is definitely a business case here.
