D-Link Africa has released a multi-port print server that enables users on a network to access up to three shared printers wirelessly or print via the Internet, the company says.
"The DP-G321 print server expands printer access beyond a wired network and even allows users to print documents from anywhere by supporting the Internet printing protocol," says D-Link marketing manager Karien Wood.
According to Wood, the DP-G321 complies with the 802.11g WiFi standard, enabling data transfer speeds of up to 54Mbps and connectivity to wireless networks as well as WiFi-enabled computers.
The new print server has a parallel port, as well as two USB 2 ports for connecting to old and new generation printers.
D-Link is distributing the product through Mustek and Pinnacle Micro.
