Data Protection Suite 8.0 available

Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, has introduced the Hitachi Data Protection Suite 8.0, powered by CommVault, reports Ulitzer.

Available immediately from Hitachi Data Systems, this software is part of the integrated data protection solutions portfolio and includes enhancements in recovery operations, simplified licence management, and remote office protection.

The Hitachi Data Protection Suite 8.0 leverages the CommVault Simpana 8.0 software suite and reinforces the longstanding OEM partnership between Hitachi Data Systems and CommVault.

Peak 10, data centre operator and managed services provider, has leveraged its business partner RS&H, a facilities and infrastructure consulting firm's services and support, according to dBusinessNews.

'HP Serviceguard Extension' integrates SAP applications into a cluster and automatically monitors the database system to help ensure that appropriate measures are taken in the event of a failure.
