Liz Naidoo, current Datacentrix chief financial officer (CFO), has been appointed as financial director to the Datacentrix Holdings Limited board.
Naidoo joined the group in August 2002 to head up its financial division, taking over executive responsibility for all aspects of the Datacentrix financial portfolio as well as playing a key role in the organisation`s strategic growth.
Naidoo`s work history prior to Datacentrix includes a stint as financial director of Bonus Building Supplies Holdings. She also held the position of audit manager at Deloitte & Touche, prior to which she worked as an account trainee. Naidoo obtained her chartered accountant qualification (BCom, BAcc, CA (SA)) from Durban Westville University.
"Liz`s qualifications, experience, energy and hands-on approach have added immense value to the Datacentrix group," says Gary Morolo, executive chairman. "Her appointment as an executive director will enable her to put these qualities to even better use across the organisation.
"The new appointment to our board of directors also highlights the importance of empowerment at all levels of the organisation," he adds.
