IT infrastructure and solutions provider, Datacentrix, excelled at the recent HP channel awards, winning awards for the top Platinum Partner (with sales for the past year exceeding the R200 million mark), Reseller of the Year and Industry Standard Servers Partner of the Year.

Datacentrix divisional director, Anne Benatar, was also awarded a Product Management Lifetime Award for her contribution and dedication to Compaq and now HP product and brand .

"These awards provide HP with the opportunity to recognise the contribution made by its partners to its sales, branding and leadership position," says Gerhard Gouws, divisional director at Datacentrix.

"The fact that we are the recipients of such high profile awards serves to underscore Datacentrix`s commitment to HP. It also highlights our position as HP`s largest partner," he explains.

Gouws maintains that the server and networking accolades in particular reinforce the significance of Datacentrix`s decision to focus strongly on HP Solution Sales, incorporating HP`s networking products and Server Infrastructure Solutions, as part of mission-critical infrastructure solutions to customers.

"We are very pleased to have reaped the rewards of our dedication to HP and its products and solutions and trust that our relationship goes from strength-to-strength," he adds.

"HP congratulates the 2003 winners in our annual HP Channel Achiever Awards! Now, more than ever, the reach and industry-specific skills that our customers need can only be provided jointly with our channel partners," says Henry Ferreira, HP SA country manager.

"HP has been busy redefining itself after the merger which has culminated in an enhanced channel which sees a strong commitment to quality in the supply chain and an emphasis in developing business partners. We have maintained an unwavering commitment to our channel and the channel awards are our way of recognising our partner`s contribution to our business," says Ferreira.
