IT infrastructure, solutions and services provider, Datacentrix, has appointed Sunil Singh as business unit manager for its Pretoria commercial business unit.
Singh has been involved in the local IT industry for the past 19 years, most recently with a BEE technology solutions company, where he was responsible for setting up a sales division and assisting the company in targeting largely government. He was also previously sales director of a JSE-listed company.
Datacentrix Infrastructure MD, Ahmed Mahomed, believes Singh`s wealth of experience within the marketplace will assist the company in growing the division`s business, specifically looking at bedding down existing customers and targeting new accounts.
"Sunil`s sound management skills and experience within the local IT market were key factors in his appointment. We feel his expertise will add immense value to the company and take this unit to a new level."
Singh is confident that, with the division`s team in place, Datacentrix will be able to move swiftly to grow the business.
