DataMotion releases governance platform
DataMotion, a provider of hosted governance services for data integration and collaboration, has rolled out its Intelligent Information Transport governance platform, says Market Watch.
The platform provides companies with managed file transfer as an on-demand service or as a cloud-enabled application infrastructure product.
According to the company, its data transfer solution helps companies control all aspects of the secure movement of data including large bulk data, whether internally between applications and employees, between two or more external business partners or even between businesses and customers.
Ernst & Young considers risk certificate
Accounting group Ernst & Young has revealed it would like to look into the possibility of developing an accountants' certificate for corporate risk management, reports Dutch News.
Pieter Jongstra, head of the group's Dutch and Belgian operations, says he wants to start up a debate with managers, supervisory organisations, the government and employers.
Ernst & Young conducted research among the managers of 300 companies earlier this year showing that 80% of surveyed companies felt their risk management processes were not up to scratch.
Avior slashes risk assessment costs
Avior Computing, a provider of compliance management solutions, has introduced a service initiative aimed at reducing the cost of third-party risk assessments, states CBR.
The company will work with Protiviti, a business consulting and internal audit firm, to conduct entire third-party risk management services.
Steve McCalmont, CEO of Avior Computing, says: "Third-party risk and regulatory compliance management is a significant non-core burden for organisations. Our new managed service offering enables Avior and our consulting partners to help clients to achieve increased third-party risk transparency, with less effort and expense."
