DataPro aims to become number one ADSL solutions provider

Johannesburg, 25 May 2005

The AltX-listed telecommunications company, DataPro Group, has announced that it now provides the widest range of ADSL solutions available, making it the leading provider in the field of ADSL. The company believes it will cement its pole position due to its experience and the fact that it was first to market.

According to Simon Butler, product manager: SOHO solutions at DataPro, the company understands that "every business has different and unique communication needs and in today`s fast-changing world, flexibility is core to all businesses. We also understand the need for a seamless, cost-effective upgrade path. Hence we tailor-make our ADSL solutions to suit our customers` needs - the customer essentially decides how much he needs and what value a communication solution means to his business."

DataPro offers a full range of ADSL solutions including a VOIP solution, a managed uncapped ADSL solution - where it supplies the hardware - as well as regular capped solutions to control costs. The company`s uncapped solution also includes options with dynamic DNS and static IPs.

DataPro`s uncapped business ADSL is touted as a fully-fledged business tool aimed at smaller businesses - and is designed to connect a small LAN with, ideally, 20-30 users to the Internet. "This means users can actually opt to have all the benefits of ADSL without the bandwidth cap.

"When business owners realise the value of ADSL and the cost savings this technology implies, it becomes an easy business decision when choosing between ADSL and existing dial-up solutions. Business benefits of ADSL include a fixed monthly fee with no additional dial-up costs, vastly improved (40 times faster) connection speeds and permanent `always on` connections."
