DataPro Group, the listed telecommunications company and ISP, has announced it`s to offer Symantec`s Brightmail as an anti-spam solution to its customer base. This is in response to what it says is a "tidal wave of spam" coming across e-mail desktops in the business world.
Simon Butler, Manager: SOHO Solutions at DataPro, said the Symantec Brightmail Anti-Spam is the world`s leading anti-spam solution, providing protection to millions of businesses before unwanted mail arrives on their network.
"This award-winning solution boasts the industry`s highest accuracy rate while still ensuring users don`t miss important mail," he said. "Brightmail stops the most spam, accurately and with zero administration burden on the customer or user`s side."
For a nominal monthly fee, DataPro customers are able to make use of this new software offering.
According to Symantec, Brightmail currently protects 300 million users, filters 15% of worldwide e-mail, filters 100 billion e-mails each month, protects nine of the top 12 US ISPs - and is still market leader after six years.
