DataPro, the premier Internet service provider, has launched the DataPro eBilling solution that promises to dramatically reduce customers` billing costs and debtors days.
Carol Zeederberg, Director: Icommerce at DataPro, said DataPro`s eBilling, powered by Striata, will dramatically reduce billing costs, enhance customer service and introduce a dynamic marketing channel for businesses to their customers.
"eBilling will save you up to 70% on your current billing cost when considering that traditional paper-based, posted invoices can cost up to R10 per document. We can cut this cost to around R1 per document," says Zeederberg.
She added that eBilling has the added business benefit of dramatically reducing debtors days. "As customer receive invoices sooner, payments are processed earlier and this leads to very positive cash flow benefits."
The delivery of invoices or statements can be done via e-mail, fax, SMS or Web-based presentations, whichever medium is more convenient for the customer. The software used by DataPro`s eBilling has been certified by the South African Revenue Service to send electronic tax invoices, statements, credit and debit notes via e-mail and complies with its certification requirements, says Zeederberg.
