Westcon, a channel provider of networking technology products and a division of the Westcon Group which forms part of Datatec, has been presented with RSA Security`s North American "Distributor of the Year" award for achieving outstanding sales during 2002.
Westcon, which distributes the market-leading RSA SecurID two-factor authentication software, is RSA Security`s top-stocking distributor and achieved 2002 sales levels of nearly double its nearest distribution competitor in the US.
The award was presented during the annual awards ceremony at the RSA SecurWorld Distribution Partner Conference in the US state of Connecticut. Westcon attributes its success with RSA Security during 2002 to its loyal customer base and its ability to provide targeted solutions by bundling strategically complementary products.
With products like RSA SecurID software, RSA Security has created and maintained a very high standard of authentication technology that remains unrivalled in the industry. Westcon has been very successful with RSA Security by combining its proven, reliable products with other complementary products in its portfolio, creating a winning solution for customers.
