DataVault, a new disaster recovery company, will make its debut appearance by joining the ranks of other well-known names in the IT industry by appearing at Johannesburg`s 2002 Computer Faire at Gallagher Estate this month. DataVault will demonstrate and exhibit products that have been nominated for the Best of What`s New competition.
DataVault specialises in risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, trends that have become common practice in organisations since the events of 11 September and the implementation of the King II Report on Corporate Governance, insisting that organisations have risk management strategies in place.
The DataVault Business Consultants at the Computer Faire will offer demonstrations of the company`s products to prospective clients. Visitors to the exhibition are invited to bring their laptops for the business consultants to backup the information which will be stored onto a DataVault data centre at the Computer Faire.
Business consultants will explain the methods DataVault uses to ensure the security of all information that is backed up via the DataVault software, the options that are available to retrieve lost information, with the backup/retrieve module, and the facilities that DataVault offers when PC users require technical assistance.
IRoam is a product that is unique to DataVault and allows a user to access stored information from anywhere in the world at any given time. This product is ideal for individuals who travel the world on business and have found on more than one occasion that they do not have with them the information that they require. With IRoam the solution is simple: dial into the data centre and retrieve the required information.
