Novell SA has welcomed Mauritius-based IT solutions provider, Happy World Bureautique (HWB), on board the business partner team.
"Although we have just joined the PartnerNet programme, we have been an Authorised System Reseller of Novell products for ten years now," says HWB managing director, Ranoo Hunma. "As a member of the PartnerNet programme we will have access to the latest information on Novell products and services, which will enable us to sell their products in a more pro-active manner."
HWB offers a comprehensive range of IT products and services, which includes full installation, support and maintenance. Network design and implementation is also done, using such technologies as switching, 100 MBPS, fiber optics and routers for wide area networking (WAN).
According to Hunma, the company has a strong foothold in the government sector and numbers Mauritius Offshore Business Authority, the Ministry of Finance, and the Central Informatics Bureau among its Novell clients. Clients running Novell solutions in the private sector include British American Insurance Ltd, Mauritius Breweries Ltd, Barclays Bank, Bank of Mauritius, and Smithkline Beecham.
"We are extremely pleased to have Happy World on board," says Graham Hallworth, Novell regional manager for sub-Saharan Africa. "Our Business Partners are key to Novell`s success in the Indian Ocean islands and play a vital role in our efforts to develop and support the channel."
In line with Novell`s services-driven business approach, HWB is moving away from the provision of hardware products only and has begun focussing its business on the provision of services. "Services currently make up 25% of our revenue," says Hunma. "Our objective is to increase this to 50% over the next three years and this can only be done with Novell`s support. "
