Dazzle puts digital photos on your TV

Digital camera fans can bypass the computer and display images directly on a television set
Johannesburg, 01 Nov 2002

Edutain Distribution/Alien Technologies has announced the release of the Dazzle TV Photo Show, a "no computer needed" device for viewing digital photos on a TV.

The Dazzle TV Photo Show makes it easy for anyone to create a slideshow of their favourite digital photographs on a standard television set - without the hassle and complexity of downloading the pictures to a computer. Users simply plug the TV Photo Show into the television`s RCA video-in connector and insert the digital media card from their digital camera. Then, using TV Photo Show`s supplied remote control, users can play their slideshow for family and friends to enjoy. Clearly identified buttons on the remote control make it easy to rotate, plan, delete or zoom in on individual pictures.

"Digital pictures are fun to take and even more fun to share with family and friends. Dazzle`s TV Photo Show let`s you share your photos on the best screen around - the family television," says Voula Philippides, MD of Edutain/Alien. "In addition, the TV Photo Show requires no computer, no technical skills, and no waiting. It`s truly the easiest way to share and enjoy those great digital pictures."

TV Photo Show accepts CompactFlash Type I and II, IBM Microdrive and SmartMedia. A standard USB cable (not included) can be used to connect to a PC. Once images are downloaded to the computer, they can be printed, e-mailed or archived.
