DCS Holdings Limited is the latest addition to accounting and business management solution provider, Navision`s rapidly growing network of Solution Centres (NSCs).
DCS Holdings is a Zambian-registered computer company providing computer solutions in Zambia. The firm is also registered in Los Angeles, California and has been working with Unitek Technologies and CVM International. Its South African business partners include Stowe Holdings, MPI Technologies, S.A. Fuel and Fibre Plus.
"We received the news of our appointment as a NSC with great excitement," says DCS Holdings managing director Dave Coker. "Apart from being the first NSC in Zambia, we believe that this appointment also offers the Zambian financial clientele another choice among the many products on the market. Although we are late entrants into the market, we believe that Navision will pose a very serious threat to other players already established in the country. This is owing to the product`s flexibility, adaptability and ease of customisation, attributes which are lacking in other products.
"We consider our appointment as a challenge to DCS," he continues. "Our competitors have created and have left behind many disgruntled customers on whom we intend capitalising. We are fully aware, however, that because Navision is a new product in Zambia, DCS must brace itself for some hard work to convince these and new clients that the application not only offers far better functionality than other solutions, but is also competitively priced. Additionally, this appointment will expose DCS and the country at large to a system that uses new technologies and approaches to the financial accounting products. This is indeed a benefit to our staff and the country."
According to Coker, DCS Holdings aims to become the leading information communication and technology company in Zambia by providing best-of-breed products and services. "The inclusion of Navision in our product portfolio will help us achieve this ambition," he declares.
"Over the years DCS Holdings has become one of Zambia`s leading suppliers of computer products and services," says Navision South Africa managing director Keith Mullan. "As such, we welcome them to the Navision family and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with them."
As an international company with a business structure and development environment geared to keep pace with a world in motion, Navision places its NSCs in high regard.
"We work closely together with them to offer fast, flexible and versatile business solutions that respond to rapidly changing demands, while growing with the company," Mullan concludes.
