BitDefender SA has announced its loyalty programme to ensure dealers receive their annuity revenues when end-users renew their BitDefender anti-virus software. Unlike most other anti-virus vendors, BitDefender is committed to rewarding its dealers on an annual basis provided end-users renew their licences.
According to BitDefender distributor Grayford Holton, the system will automatically transfer any South African renewal request, without the end-user being aware of it, to the Holton & Associates Web site (www.holton.co.za).
"The end-user will complete a form which will include the user`s BitDefender registration key. This process will automatically notify BitDefender distributor Holton & Associates who the original supplier of BitDefender was, and also sends an e-mail to the supplier to advise of the renewal."
The end-user pays the renewal fee by credit card and is sent a registration key by e-mail. A monthly report is then created for Holton & Associates of commissions due to the suppliers who will be paid at the end of the month.
This procedure is followed each year while the user continues to use and renew the BitDefender anti-virus system.
