defenceWeb launches new events calendar

By defenceWeb
Johannesburg, 30 Jan 2013

defenceWeb, Africa's leading defence and security news portal, is proud to announce the launch of a new calendar, featuring the most important defence and security events in Africa and around the world.

The calendar first and foremost highlights key dates in South Africa, with a secondary focus on Africa as a continent. Thirdly, it covers the most noteworthy global defence and security events, from DSEi to the Paris Air Show. The calendar is growing all the time, but we have already bookmarked dozens of air shows, parades and exhibitions.

As the defenceWeb events calendar is aimed primarily at those in the military, paramilitary and industry, we welcome submissions from these key players. Submissions can be made on the calendar page of the Web site. So if you have a new product to launch or an event you'd like to make our audience aware of, feel free to send the information through.

The calendar, which can be found under the Events menu on the defenceWeb home page, can be accessed here.

The calendar is yet another value-adding service from defenceWeb. We are growing and expanding the Web site so that we maintain our position as the leading African online defence news source - some of the exciting events to look forward to from defenceWeb this year are our coverage of international defence exhibitions and the launch of new portals.

With our expanded editorial team, defenceWeb is expecting a stellar year. We look forward to sharing that journey with you.
